This is a truly touching story. It’s about a little girl who is a genius but has a family who never really cared too much about her. When she finally gets a chance to go to school she meets her teacher Miss Honey. Miss Honey appreciates Matilda’s talent and looks after Matilda more than her own family does. Matilda soon discovers that she has supernatural powers and uses them to teach different people lessons. Matlida’s family soon had to leave the country because her father had been selling old and used cars dishonestly. Matilda didn’t want to leave with them so Miss Honey offered to adopt her in which the family agreed and then fled. Matilda and Miss Honey then began a new and happy life together.
